Why to do reconstruction of the crane? The main reasons are:
increasing the lifting capacity of the crane
changing the lifting mechanism (hoist, winch)

renewal of electrics installation
changing of the linear power supply of the bridge crane
changing the manner of control (for example, installation of radio remote control system)
installation of an anti-collision device for the cranes travelling on the same crane way
installation of power supply for a new additional equipment which would be hung on the hook
addition of commercial or technological weighing on the crane, or other functions (for example, precise positioning of the hoist and bridge of the crane)
addition or changing of an overload cut-out device

In 2009, within a reconstruction of a double girder bridge crane of Snina 12,5t/27,9m for PRESBETON Nova, s.r.o. the following modifications and works were performed:
demounting of an existing festoon cable power supply system for the hoist
demounting of existing travel motors of the bridge, including brake system
demounting of an existing crane switchboard
demounting of an existing cabin and lightning system
delivery and mounting of a new power supply system for the hoist – energetic cable chain
delivery and mounting of a new crane switchboard
delivery and mounting of a new remote radio control
delivery and mounting of new travel motors of the bridge, including brakes
complete painting of the steel structure of the crane
delivery and mounting of a new power supply trolley with the length of 74m
new documentation and production plate of the crane
revision and testing of the crane
